Origins and History
Harlequin Macaws are a type of captive-bred parrot that is rarely seen in the wild. The Blue and Gold Macaw is only found in Central and South America, whereas the Green-Winged Macaw is only found in southern South America. Speech and vocalization
Almost all macaws, including the Harlequin, are among the world's largest parrot species, and they can make piercing sounds!
